Madrid's luxury hotel scene is expanding with the arrival of Nobu Hotel Madrid, set to open its doors in September. The property, already accepting reservations from 1 September, will offer 50 rooms and suites across ten categories, blending Japanese minimalism with the warmth of the Spanish capital.
The hotel is located in Las Cortes, one of Madrid's most cultural districts, between Plaza de Cibeles and Puerta del Sol. Guests will be within walking distance of landmarks such as the equestrian statue of Charles III and Kilometre Zero, the point from which all radial roads lead out of the city.
Accommodation and Dining
Room categories range from superior rooms to premium options with city views. The zen suite features floor-to-ceiling windows, while the top-end Nobu suite includes a private terrace, two bedrooms, and an open-plan living and dining area. Prices start at €660 per night, including breakfast and a €100 dining credit for bookings made before 30 September.
All guests have 24-hour in-room dining with Nobu dishes. Those staying in the Nobu, Yugi, or Hikari suites receive priority reservations at the on-site restaurant.
The hotel's centrepiece is a three-storey Nobu restaurant, the brand's first in Madrid. The ground floor houses a relaxed lounge, the first floor features a show kitchen and dining room, and the third floor offers an intimate eight-seat sushi bar. Above the restaurant, the Nobu Rooftop provides skyline views and signature cuisine.
Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's classic Japanese-Peruvian dishes, such as black cod miso, rock shrimp tempura, and yellowtail sashimi, will be served. The opening is timed ahead of the Formula 1 Tag Heuer Gran Premio de España weekend, adding to the city's appeal for visitors.
“The opening of Nobu Hotel Madrid marks a significant milestone for Nobu globally, and especially in Spain, joining our portfolio of properties in San Sebastián, Barcelona, Marbella and Ibiza,” said Natasha Hargan, General Manager. “Located in the heart of Madrid, the hotel will serve as an urban sanctuary, where distinctive design, world-class Nobu cuisine, exceptional service, and a deep connection to the city’s culture come together to create a vibrant destination for both guests and the local community.”
This is the fifth Nobu Hotel in Spain, following locations in San Sebastián, Barcelona, Marbella, and Ibiza.
